Safety Management System
PT. DUTA MARINE recognizes and adopts the objectives of the ISM Code which are to ensure safety at sea, prevention of human injury or loss of life, and avoidance of damage to the environment, in particular to the marine environment, and to property.
The objectives of are:
Safe Management
To provide for safe practices in FSO operation and a safe working environment.
Risk Management
To identify all risks to ships, personnel, and the environment, to assess such risks and to establish appropriate safeguards against them.
Continuous Improvement
To continuously improve management skills of personnel ashore and onboard our ships, including preparing for emergencies related both to safety and environmental protection.
Compliance with Rules and Regulations
To ensure compliance with mandatory rules and regulations and take into account all applicable codes, guidelines and standards recommended by the International Maritime Organization, Administrations, Classification Societies and Maritime Industry.
